  21. You didn't really need to post the makefile.  We have it here too.

  23. to begin with.

  25. I assume you are talking about C-Kermit 7.0.

  27. Which version of AIX do you have?  Is it 4.3.0?  4.3.1?  4.3.2?  ...
  28. The "oslevel" command (given at the shell prompt) will tell you.

  36. Try this:  Edit the makefile; find the aix43 target, change
  37. "-qmaxmem=8000" to "-qmaxmem=12000", and then type "make aix43" again.
